Project Manager – Technical Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager you will lead the technical and organisational follow‑up of air‑preheater projects from order hand‑over to final delivery. The role blends project management with mechanical engineering, using Autodesk Inventor to develop designs that meet planning, budget and quality targets while contributing to lower CO₂ emissions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from order intake through to final delivery.
• Align technically with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Develop and review mechanical designs in Autodesk Inventor.
• Monitor engineering, purchasing, production, inspections and logistics.
• Organise and lead project meetings and manage project risks.
• Prepare technical documentation and progress reports.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during quotation and sales processes.
• Support design and process improvements and occasionally assist installations, inspections and commissioning worldwide.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a technical project or engineering role.
• Structured, ownership‑driven and able to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work in the office and travel occasionally.
