Project Manager – Industrial Construction

About the role

Blue Projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial construction projects in Belgium. The role is based on‑site in Wieze and/or Halle and involves overseeing projects from planning through execution, ensuring budget, schedule, and technical requirements are met while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define project specifications and objectives together with the project team.
• Support contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist in obtaining permits and licenses from authorities.
• Plan and allocate resources – manpower, equipment, materials – while respecting budget constraints.
• Develop and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead the project team, assign responsibilities, and manage client and contractor interactions.
• Prepare detailed progress and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a construction Project Manager on industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with the food industry’s manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Understanding of quality, health, and safety regulations.
• Excellent command of English; Dutch/Flemish is mandatory.
• BSc or BA in Engineering or a related field.
