Project Manager II – Product Development

About the role

Biocartis is seeking a Project Manager II to lead product‑development projects from initiation through delivery. You will ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets while aligning with business cases and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate project initiation, scope definition and support sponsors in business case preparation.
• Develop, track and adjust project plans, schedules and resource demand using appropriate tools.
• Produce progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Define success criteria, manage risks and ensure compliance with QA/QC and regulatory standards (CE, FDA, IVDR).
• Manage project budgets, monitor actuals versus forecasts and propose adjustments.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional project teams, including third‑party consultants.
• Create and promote best‑practice project management methods and act as a PM ambassador.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a scientific or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of project management experience in product development, preferably in the healthcare/IVD sector.
• Strong knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements (CE, FDA, IVDR).
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑site or multi‑company projects.
• Excellent communication, business acumen and stakeholder‑management skills.
