Project Manager – Construction Projects (Mons, Belgium)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the site project engineering team in Mons, Belgium, supporting key investment projects from concept through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for AE/GC/CM/sub‑contractors during the pre‑construction phase.
• Create and maintain the Master Project Budget, covering soft and hard costs, bonds, insurance, contingencies and allowances.
• Support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and provide recommendations.
• Assist the client in identifying, scoping, procuring and scheduling Owner‑direct vendors and consultants.
• Manage the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on‑site during construction.
• Oversee cost and change control processes.
• Initiate the close‑out process two to three months before project completion.
• Establish and track receipt of all close‑out documentation, including warranties, as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Identify potential issues, raise them promptly and report progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications.
• Experience with infrastructure or other complex projects.
• Fluent English (French knowledge is an advantage).
• Immediately available and holding a valid work permit for Belgium.
