Project Management Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer to join our Development team on a remote basis within the EU. The successful candidate will work closely with a major client’s IT team, supporting project planning, reporting and governance across multiple initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain custom PMO tooling for project planning, status and risk reporting using Power BI, Power Automate, JIRA and SharePoint.
• Guide teams on the adopted management methodology and review their project‑management deliverables.
• Support Project Managers in complying with IT Governance rules and preparing accurate project plans.
• Monitor costs, timescales and resources, flag deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Define and manage change‑control procedures, securing agreement from project sponsors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of overall project‑management experience, including at least 3 years as a PMO or Project Manager/Team Leader.
• 3 + years in an agile software‑development environment with strong Scrum knowledge.
• Coaching or trainer experience and certifications such as PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum Master.
• Excellent command of English.
