Project Engineer HVAC

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer HVAC to lead HVAC and clean‑utility projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will oversee projects from concept through design, installation, commissioning and validation, ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HVAC and clean‑utility projects from concept to qualification and hand‑over.
• Coordinate design, procurement, installation, commissioning and validation activities.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation such as P&IDs, functional specifications and validation documents.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, ICH guidelines and internal quality standards.
• Support project planning, risk assessments, budgeting and stakeholder coordination.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and external partners to ensure successful project execution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HVAC systems in a pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing engineering or CAPEX projects.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and risk‑management tools such as FMEA.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
