Production Technician – Cleanroom Manufacturing

About the role

LaCAR is seeking a Production Technician to join its fast‑growing biotech team in Liège Science Park. You will work in an ISO‑7 cleanroom, assembling electronic cartridges for diagnostic applications while following strict quality and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment for electronic cartridge assembly and manufacturing.
• Perform production and packaging of cartridges, sticks, reagents, and buffers with a focus on quality and traceability.
• Execute manual and semi‑automated operations that require high precision and repeatability.
• Work daily in an ISO‑7 cleanroom, adhering to contamination‑control rules and gowning protocols.
• Prepare materials, consumables, and components in compliance with standards.
• Inspect and verify product quality using metrology tools and analytical methods.
• Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Apply procedures, work instructions, and safety rules rigorously.
• Accurately complete production documentation to ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education, preferably with an electronic or scientific focus.
• Reliable, motivated and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while appreciating daily variety.
• Enjoys structured, methodical, hands‑on work.
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to follow strict procedures.
• Team‑oriented and able to work in a regulated cleanroom environment.
