Production Coordinator – Biotech Diagnostics

About the role

LaCAR, a fast‑growing European biotech company, is seeking a Production Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality diagnostic kits. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, logistics and purchasing teams to keep production running smoothly and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor production activities to meet delivery schedules while optimizing resources.
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot day‑to‑day issues and step into production processes when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support investigations to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Manage raw material and consumable inventories, forecast needs and liaise with Purchasing to secure supplies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Logistics, Purchasing and Assays teams to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized production environment in line with health‑safety and quality standards.
• Participate in deviation investigations, root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biomedical sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in biotech or pharma production planning and coordination within a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485, IVDR or GMP and experience handling deviations, CAPA and change control.
• Strong organizational, autonomous and adaptable work style.
