Product Manager – Proton Therapy Academy

About the role

The Proton Therapy Academy (PTA) is IBA’s global training initiative for proton therapy centres. As the Product Manager you will own the Academy as a customer‑facing product, guiding its strategy, content, platform evolution and adoption to support clinical excellence worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the Academy’s strategic vision and long‑term roadmap.
• Align educational priorities with learner needs, market trends and IBA’s corporate objectives.
• Identify content gaps, innovation opportunities and new educational formats.
• Lead the content strategy across multiple learner personas, overseeing online modules, advanced clinical courses, blended programmes and product‑related training.
• Ensure scientific rigor, pedagogical consistency and practical applicability of all Academy material.
• Collaborate with internal experts, external key opinion leaders and professional organisations to create engaging learning experiences.
• Apply adult‑learning principles to develop e‑learning modules, blended journeys, assessments and certification approaches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with proton therapy centres, clinical experts and internal stakeholders, facilitating feedback loops and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management, education or healthcare‑related environments.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and collaboration skills across clinical, marketing and business teams.
• Ability to translate scientific content into clear, pedagogically sound learning material.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning product development to market and organisational goals.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Belgium while working remotely.
