Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, communicative Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team at Nipro’s EMEA headquarters in Mechelen, Belgium. The role focuses on strategic procurement, ensuring commercial competitiveness, quality and stability of our supply base across finished products, manufacturing Capex, raw materials, packaging and value‑adding services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead critical strategic projects that support Nipro’s 5‑year growth plan, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and delivering results in manufacturing Capex and raw‑material development.
• Manage existing suppliers, resolve price, order and delivery issues, and oversee new‑product RFQs and supplier introductions in collaboration with product marketing and operations.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, including template creation, internal review coordination and preliminary discussions with suppliers.
• Support data preparation and long‑term procurement strategies through supplier‑landscape analysis, market index and trend studies, and product/technology research.
• Ensure all activities comply with ISO 13485 Quality Management System and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on and communicative professional with experience in strategic procurement.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and lead cross‑functional projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with ISO 13485 compliance.
