Procurement Specialist – External Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and supplier management for external manufacturing of sterile drug products. The role operates independently within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring continuity of supply while driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for assigned categories.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and commercial analyses to inform sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align sourcing activities with project objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships through operational follow‑up and performance monitoring.
• Execute day‑to‑day procurement activities within the designated supplier portfolio.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and supplier performance.
• Maintain compliance with procurement processes, quality standards, and supply continuity requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement execution within pharmaceutical external manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) landscape and sterile drug product manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Commercial awareness combined with negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
