Procurement Project Lead – CAPEX Construction Programme

About the role

You will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for critical procurement packages on a high‑visibility CAPEX construction programme in Braine‑l’Alleud, Belgium. The role combines strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and close collaboration with engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and define sourcing strategies for construction, MEP and process equipment packages.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and contract execution, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, quality and risk targets.
• Oversee supplier performance, change orders and the full contract lifecycle.
• Act as the procurement interface within engineering and project teams, providing clear progress, risk and savings reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and contract negotiation/management.
• Successful delivery on CAPEX projects up to €50 M.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple packages simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement.
• Structured, proactive and solutions‑oriented approach.
