Procurement Officer – Consumables Management

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage consumable supplies for our frozen‑food production sites. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth material flow and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP), handle order processing, consumable supplies and order confirmations.
• Validate invoices and optimise consumable stock by adjusting order timing in response to schedule changes.
• Communicate delays or non‑deliveries to production, quality, warehouse and sales departments.
• Analyse consumables MRP summaries, release new films and manage films under contract.
• Temporarily cover purchasing administration duties and perform various consumable analyses.
• Support the sales department with relevant information and contribute to the development of new consumable‑related tools.
• Track expiration dates of consumables and request extensions when needed.

Required profile

• Mandatory knowledge of SAP.
• Previous experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Administrative rigor, strong overview capability and flexibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and take decisive action.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
