Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of early‑childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and supervision standards.
• Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and staff through consistent communication.
• Implement and monitor IEPs and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Document accidents, incidents, and behavioral escalations in accordance with company policy.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Knowledge of early‑childhood developmental milestones and best practices.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence‑required classroom management and communication systems.
