Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead classroom operations, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive relationships with families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and Cadence Education policies.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors according to company and licensing requirements.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to support diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, well‑supervised classroom environment.
