About the role
TEAM LEWIS, a global integrated communications agency, is looking for a PR intern for its Brussels or Antwerp office, where it represents leading companies across many sectors. The internship starts in the next semester and offers an introduction to PR from an agency perspective.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the team in managing client accounts and projects
- Follow the news agenda closely and position clients and products in context
- Develop an understanding of strong news angles and media opportunities
- Monitor news sources and alert the team to breaking news
- Write materials such as biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders and boilerplates
- Create briefing sheets to help clients with their press activities
- Track and report media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings and online engagement
Required profile
- PR or communication student
- Native Dutch and French speaker with good English
- Keen interest in current affairs
- Open to feedback, creative and able to prioritise
- Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
