Post‑doctoral Assistant in Plant Tissue Culture

About the role

The Faculty of Bioscience Engineering seeks a post‑doctoral assistant to conduct research on plant tissue culture and regeneration. The position involves both research and teaching support at Bachelor and Master levels.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct academic research focusing on regeneration of plants from tissues and/or cells (≈80% of time).
• Assist in teaching activities for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.
• Supervise Master’s students during exercises, work placements and dissertations.
• Provide guidance to doctoral students.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD) completed before the start of the appointment.
• Research experience in plant tissue culture and regeneration.
• Demonstrated potential as a researcher during the PhD.
• Interest in coaching students at Bachelor, Master and Advanced Master levels.

Required skills

• Plant tissue culture techniques.
• Scientific publication in peer‑reviewed journals.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term appointment for 2 years (non‑renewable).
