Platform Engineer – AWS EKS / Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Engineer with deep expertise in cloud‑native technologies, especially Amazon EKS and Kubernetes. You will join the Cloud Infrastructure team to design, operate, and continuously improve a production‑grade Kubernetes platform that empowers application and data teams to deliver reliable services at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Amazon EKS clusters, handling lifecycle, upgrades, scaling and networking.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform or OpenTofu, and develop reusable platform components.
• Support developer productivity through modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
• Implement monitoring, logging and metrics solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Alloy) to improve reliability and observability.
• Apply Kubernetes security best practices, manage IAM roles, RBAC policies and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating production Kubernetes environments, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Strong background in Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and GitOps processes.
• Solid troubleshooting mindset and ability to work collaboratively across development, infrastructure and security teams.
