Platform & DevOps Engineer – Cloud Kubernetes Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Platform & DevOps Engineer to join our high‑performing Platform Operations team. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a highly available cloud platform that runs mission‑critical applications and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production Kubernetes clusters across multi‑cluster environments.
• Manage ingress controllers, service discovery, RBAC, network policies, and workload identity.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, storage, and performance issues; execute controlled upgrades with rollback strategies.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, lead incident triage, mitigation, and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain and improve runbooks, SLA/SLO compliance, and technical documentation.
• Maintain enterprise observability platforms, work with metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and alerting to reduce alert fatigue.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating production Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems.
• Experience supporting mission‑critical production environments.
• Comfortable with 24/7 on‑call rotations.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Structured, proactive, and detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (production administration, multi‑cluster, RBAC, network policies, storage CSI, autoscaling, pod security standards).
• GitOps & CI/CD tools: ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, Harness.io, Git‑based deployment workflows.
• Container technologies: Docker, Harbor, JFrog Artifactory.
• Security: HashiCorp Vault, TLS/mTLS, secret management, image vulnerability scanning.
• Observability: Grafana, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry.
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, Kubernetes networking, ingress, reverse proxy.
• Automation: Advanced Bash scripting, infrastructure‑automation mindset.
