Plant Manager - PP/PE Extrusion

About the role

Our client, a leading Belgian player in advanced plastics recycling, is looking for a Plant Manager to lead a state‑of‑the‑art PP/PE regeneration plant. You will have full end‑to‑end responsibility for the production cycle and will manage a multidisciplinary team in a highly automated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete PP/PE regeneration flow from raw material intake through extrusion, quality control and certified finished product.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 25‑30 staff across production, maintenance, laboratory and R&D.
• Set up, fine‑tune and expand extrusion installations, drive process improvements and oversee CAPEX projects.
• Collaborate with the Operational Manager to continuously raise plant performance and competitiveness.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering with proven experience in plastics regeneration for PP or PE.
• Hands‑on management of extrusion technology in an industrial setting.
• Strong track record leading production operations and teams of 25‑30 people.
• Solid knowledge of quality management systems and maintaining certifications such as CERTIPLAST and ISO 9001.
• Fluency in Flemish and good command of English.
