Pediatrician – Developmental & Mental Health

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pediatrician to join AUMHUM’s coordinated clinical team, focusing on mental and developmental health across childhood and adolescence. The role involves evaluating developmental, behavioural, and medical presentations and collaborating with child psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and occupational therapists within structured care pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose developmental, behavioural, and medical issues in children and adolescents.
• Partner with child psychiatrists, psychologists and allied health professionals on complex cases.
• Support families in navigating coordinated care pathways and shared clinical records.
• Review medical contributors to mental health symptoms and contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, case reviews and professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree in Pediatrics (DCH/DNB) or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the relevant Medical Council or equivalent regulator.
• Experience in developmental and behavioural paediatrics is desirable.
