Payroll Senior Specialist – Nordic Countries

About the role

As a Payroll Senior Specialist you will lead payroll services for SD Worx’s newly created Managed Payroll Services (MPS) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization, focusing on Nordic clients. The role requires fluent English and deep local payroll expertise for Norway, Denmark or Estonia.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, compliant payroll for Nordic clients.
• Support payroll transformation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Define and implement local and global payroll standards.
• Maintain payroll documentation, SOPs and governance controls.
• Collaborate with clients, country teams and external stakeholders.
• Assist with year‑end activities, statutory reporting and system testing.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of payroll outsourcing experience within a BPO for Nordic countries.
• Fluent English and the relevant local language (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, garnishments, compliance and payments.
• Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
