Paid Social Expert

About the role

Wavemaker is looking for a Paid Social Expert to join its Digital Team and the wider GroupM social community. After a fast‑track training program, you will plan, launch and optimise paid social campaigns across platforms such as META, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn and Reddit, aligning them with clients' broader media objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the internal point of contact for paid social campaigns at Wavemaker.
• Define KPIs with digital planners and develop strategic and tactical social media plans.
• Set up, launch and continuously optimise campaigns on native buying platforms.
• Monitor performance, ensure delivery targets are met, and adjust tactics as needed.
• Create detailed campaign reports and extract learnings for future initiatives.
• Build and refine audience segments to improve targeting efficiency.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, digital innovation or a related business field.
• Previous experience in a similar paid‑social role is a plus.
• High quality standards, strong analytical mindset and result‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and French and/or Dutch.
• Team‑player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
