About the role
GS1 is looking for a proactive and organised Operations & Executive Support Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day functioning of its Brussels Global Office. You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the VP of People & Culture and other senior leaders while fostering a collaborative office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including space planning, maintenance, vendor coordination, inventory, and reception duties.
- Act as the primary liaison with building management, service providers, and internal staff to resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate meetings, onboarding logistics, room set‑ups, catering, and other office support activities.
- Manage the annual employee‑engagement and office‑experience budget, organising appreciation events, refreshments, team lunches and seasonal activities.
- Provide executive support to the VP of People & Culture and assigned leaders, handling scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting preparation and follow‑up.
- Support employee‑engagement initiatives, networking opportunities and internal events that strengthen connections across the global federation.
Required profile
- Early‑career professional with a strong organisational mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to learn and build trusted relationships across the organisation.
