O&M Readiness Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an O&M Readiness Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Leuven. You will help shape the strategy and organisational model for current and future offshore wind farms, ensuring the business is ready to deliver efficient O&M solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define O&M strategies and targets for new projects over a 3‑5 year horizon.
• Propose improvements to sustain and enhance existing assets, advising technical solutions to O&M colleagues.
• Support business development and tender projects with technical and commercial analysis.
• Engage with the O&M supply chain from market contact through to contract finalisation.
• Contribute to R&D projects and translate findings into the O&M business model.
• Identify new opportunities, assess risk profiles and recommend viable projects to management.
• Participate in internal knowledge‑sharing and educational activities.
• Collaborate on partnerships that support long‑term growth and ensure successful implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations and maintenance within the offshore wind sector or related energy industries.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical and commercial aspects of projects.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional offshore assignments.
