O&M Civil Asset Management Engineer

About the role

Join a pioneering offshore wind joint venture and ensure the long‑term integrity of critical civil assets, including foundations and subsea high‑voltage cables. You will work both offshore and from our Ostend office, contributing to the reliability, safety and lifetime optimisation of renewable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise offshore maintenance campaigns in Belgium and abroad.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and resolve technical issues on foundations and subsea cables.
• Plan and execute unplanned maintenance, managing vessels, crew and material logistics.
• Develop preventive, corrective and adaptive maintenance strategies to maximise asset lifetime.
• Support tender projects and contribute to the global expansion of O&M services.
• Design O&M strategy and improvement projects, collaborating with Electrical and Turbine O&M teams.
• Perform data‑driven analysis to monitor lifetime expectations of operational assets.
• Travel occasionally within Belgium and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Strong passion for renewable energy and offshore environments.
• Master’s degree in civil, electro‑mechanical, marine or a related engineering discipline.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Dutch and/or German a plus.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset with solid technical understanding.
• Good analytical skills and experience working with data.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude.
