Officer, Facilities Management and Workspace

About the role

The NATO Representation to Ukraine (NRU) seeks an Officer to lead facilities management and workspace planning for its Kyiv premises. The role supports the planning, coordination and delivery of general services, construction projects and facility upgrades in a high‑risk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor facility upgrade projects, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
• Manage contracts with vendors, overseeing compliance with NATO safety, security and procurement policies.
• Lead the end‑to‑end procurement process, from tender preparation to contract award.
• Forecast budgets, prepare financial reports and track project expenditures.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day office space management and support short‑term work plans aligned with NRU objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience in project management or supervising infrastructure projects in complex environments.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) with proven budget management skills.
• Ability to read and develop technical documents and drawings related to infrastructure.
• Advanced level (V) in one NATO official language and beginner level (I) in the other.
