Neighbourhood Concierge – Brussels

About the role

The Neighbourhood Concierge supports elderly residents in Brussels by connecting them with local volunteers, organisations and professionals. Acting as a trusted bridge, you help seniors live independently at home while fostering a supportive community network.

Key responsibilities

• Get to know new members, especially senior citizens, to understand their living situation and needs.
• Monitor members’ wellbeing through regular visits or phone calls.
• Identify and coordinate appropriate help by contacting the right person or organisation.
• Collaborate closely with local associations to deliver optimal support.
• Develop and maintain the member database and the neighbourhood network together with project managers.

Required profile

• Resident of Brussels, fluent in French and Dutch.
• Enjoys interacting with elderly people and their families.
• Strong communicator, caring, and able to connect people and services.
• Organised and capable of keeping an overview of requests using provided software.
