Mobile Software Developer – Android (Kotlin)

About the role

Keystone Solutions is looking for a driven Mobile Software Developer to join a strategic IT team that maintains non‑medical hospital applications. You will work on‑site at the client location, focusing on native Android development while staying open to future platform opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and the Android Jetpack ecosystem.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, secure architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, DI).
• Integrate apps with backend ERP systems and use Firebase services for monitoring, analytics and messaging.
• Participate in end‑to‑end project delivery, from analysis and development to release and user support.
• Stay updated on mobile trends and be ready to expand expertise to iOS or cross‑platform frameworks as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong expertise in Android development with a broad interest in the mobile ecosystem.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Kotlin (including Coroutines & Flow)
• Android SDK
• Jetpack Compose
• MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection (e.g., Koin)
• Firebase Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Firestore
• REST APIs (Retrofit, OkHttp, Ktor client)
• Room for local data storage
• Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft tools and SQL Server (backend awareness)
