Methods Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Join NLMK’s modern hot strip mill in La Louvière as a Methods Maintenance Engineer. You will work closely with the Method Maintenance Manager to ensure that maintenance processes are applied consistently and efficiently across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance standards, including plans, checklists, KPIs and operating procedures.
• Plan daily, weekly and annual maintenance operations.
• Compile and maintain the maintenance dashboard (total backlog, critical PM backlog, curative OT backlog, PMP quality).
• Determine equipment criticality levels for the production line.
• Contribute to equipment and work‑procedure improvements.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects such as 6S and LOTO.
• Support SAP enhancements related to maintenance.
• Monitor production losses and develop action plans with experts to reduce them.

Required profile

• Industrial or civil engineering degree.
• At least one year of experience in a similar maintenance method role.
• Hands‑on maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with the steel industry and SAP is a plus.
