MES Consultant – Life Sciences (Manufacturing Engineer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Life Sciences MES team as an MES Consultant. The role focuses on designing, configuring and delivering next‑generation Manufacturing Execution System solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure MES solutions, primarily Werum PAS‑X and related platforms, for life‑science clients.
• Model Master Batch Records (MBR) and support related MES design activities.
• Lead implementation, testing and deployment phases, including validation and verification of MBR and Electronic Batch Records (EBR).
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements and conduct solution design sessions with client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve manufacturing processes through digitalisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with MES solutions in regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life‑science environments.
• Proven track record of MES implementation and MBR modelling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in regulated settings.
• Excellent communication skills in English; client‑facing experience.
• Growth mindset, problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
