MEP Construction Manager – Data Centre Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on a data centre project in Belgium. You will coordinate safety, quality, planning and subcontractor activities to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support site safety management together with the Safety Advisor, including set‑up, maintenance and close‑out of the project safety file.
• Manage site quality assurance in partnership with the Mechanical Package Manager, handling documentation set‑up and close‑out.
• Assist project planning and scheduling, aligning with other trades, package leads, consultants and client requirements.
• Help control package costs – labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations and valuations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for assigned works and supervise subcontractor activities, progress tracking and weekly coordination meetings.
• Issue, track and close weekly snagging and punch lists.
• Submit direct labour and subcontractor hours for central tracking.
• Participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, coordination and handover meetings.
• Support project close‑out, preparing O&M manuals, safety files, QA documentation and handover requirements.
• Implement weekly look‑ahead planning to coordinate trades and produce weekly progress reports covering WBS codes, risks, delays and key issues.
• Track and coordinate material deliveries according to the project schedule.

Required profile

• Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.
• Proven experience coordinating and managing large‑scale projects.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
