Medior iOS Developer (Freelance, 1‑year contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Medior iOS Developer on a freelance basis to design, build, and maintain high‑quality iOS applications for a Belgian client. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and lasts for one year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS apps using Swift, Objective‑C and the iOS SDK.
• Create user interfaces with UIKit, SwiftUI and Storyboards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL and third‑party services.
• Implement offline support, local storage and caching (Core Data, Realm, UserDefaults).
• Optimize performance, responsiveness and battery usage.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following SOLID principles and Swift conventions.
• Develop unit and UI tests with XCTest, Quick/Nimble.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers and product managers.
• Support App Store compliance and assist with submission.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
