Medical Affairs Lead – Surgery MSM

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Medical Affairs Lead for its Surgery MSM portfolio. The role is based in Belgium, the Netherlands or Sweden and will be performed in a hybrid work mode. You will shape and execute the medical and clinical strategy, supporting the MSM Surgery Board and partnering with the MSM Surgery Lead and Market General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the medical and clinical strategy for the Surgery MSM portfolio.
• Provide scientific, clinical and ethical leadership across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business leaders and external stakeholders to inform decision‑making and build evidence‑based value propositions.
• Strengthen the device narrative using robust clinical evidence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs within surgical or medical device environments.
• Ability to lead scientific and clinical discussions and act as an ethical guide.
• Strong partnership skills with cross‑functional business teams and external experts.
