Mechanical Site Manager – Belgium (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

Brightsmith is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead mechanical installation works on a large‑scale construction project in Belgium. This 12‑month contract role involves day‑to‑day oversight of site activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical site activities from installation through handover.
• Maintain the highest health and safety standards across the work area.
• Oversee quality control processes, inspections and project documentation.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and coordinate with other trades and stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractor performance, productivity and manpower levels.
• Lead weekly coordination and progress meetings with subcontractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing mechanical works on large‑scale construction projects.
• Previous supervisory or management position in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, coordination and subcontractor management.
• Ability to handle multiple site activities in a fast‑paced setting.
