Mechanical Engineer – Robotics and Automation

About the role

Dekimo Experts is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its robotics projects. You will be responsible for designing, improving, and delivering mechanical equipment that forms the core of Industry 4.0 solutions for sectors such as aerospace, mobility, med‑tech, energy, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Design 3D models, assembly and manufacturing drawings for robotic equipment based on project requirements.
• Identify and propose improvement opportunities for mechanical designs.
• Define robot work cells, position equipment, validate robot types and payload limits.
• Rapidly prototype basic equipment (robot tools, storage racks) to test robotic functions.
• Plan mechanical engineering activities, highlighting challenges and risks.
• Coordinate detailed‑engineering tasks, manage the mechanical team schedule, and ensure alignment with automation, electrical, and workshop departments.
