Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Expleo is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop cutting‑edge mechanical systems, components and assemblies. You will work in a global engineering environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems, components and assemblies using advanced CAD tools and engineering software.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and systems engineers to integrate mechanical solutions for optimal performance.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as design specifications, test reports and product manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably supporting manufacturing or design processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English or Dutch.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) tools.
• Experience using CATIA or CREO software.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation and analysis software.
