Mechanical Engineer – Design & Innovation

About the role

Expleo is a global engineering, technology and consulting services provider seeking a Mechanical Engineer to innovate and develop cutting‑edge mechanical systems, components and assemblies. You will work within a multinational environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components and assemblies using advanced CAD tools and engineering software.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and systems engineers to integrate mechanical solutions for optimal performance.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as design specifications, test reports and product manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably supporting manufacturing or design processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English or Dutch.

Required skills

• Computer‑aided design (CAD) proficiency.
• Experience with CATIA or CREO software.
