Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

AYES Belgium is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its international engineering team. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for industrial equipment, supporting projects from concept through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Produce layout, general arrangement, detail, and isometric drawings for manufacturing and cost estimation.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Perform on‑site measurements and technical surveys at customer facilities.
• Maintain technical documentation and report project progress to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical design for industrial equipment and installations.
• Strong expertise in welded assemblies, steel fabrications, and piping networks.
• Ability to work independently and manage engineering studies from concept to completion.
• Fluent in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
