Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a highly automated logistics operation within a global organization. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of critical logistics equipment such as conveyors, sorting lines and lifting systems in a technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and repair automated machinery including conveyor, sorting and lifting systems.
• Respond to operational incidents, document findings and escalate when necessary.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programmes to maximise equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers and stakeholders to support daily operations.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects within the maintenance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work rotating early/late shifts, occasional night shifts and on‑call rotation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
