Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Avani Pattaya Resort & Spa is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to lead its engineering team and ensure the property’s facilities operate safely and efficiently for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and schedule the engineering team for planned maintenance, guest requests, and emergencies.
• Supervise the team to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide required engineering support.
• Maintain guest rooms and public areas to the resort’s standards.
• Oversee fire‑safety procedures and compliance.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day equipment upkeep across all departments.
• Supervise external contractors and assist inspectors during audits.
• Maintain, lubricate, and protect all tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in general maintenance and repair processes.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and manual dexterity.
• Good physical condition and willingness to work extended hours when needed.
