Maintenance Technician – Automated Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join a highly automated logistics operation within a global healthcare organisation. You will ensure that critical warehousing and material‑handling equipment remains reliable and efficient in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and restore operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on high‑bay cranes, pallet lifts, sorting machines and conveyor systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cooling, heating and other facility infrastructure.
• Log interventions, handle control‑room calls and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve technical problems.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects across the site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or a related technical field.
• Initial professional experience in a maintenance, engineering or technical environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive problem‑solver able to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to diagnose faults in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with high‑bay cranes, pallet lifts, sorting equipment and conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with cooling and heating facility infrastructure.
