Luggage Porter

About the role

The Luggage Porter works under the Head Concierge and Assistant Head Concierge to deliver an exceptional welcome experience for hotel guests. Acting as the first point of contact, the Porter ensures smooth luggage handling, provides courteous assistance, and promotes the hotel's high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label, store, and deliver guest luggage promptly and accurately.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading belongings from vehicles while following safety protocols.
• Maintain the Bell Desk, lobby, and luggage room in a clean and orderly condition.
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to coordinate luggage logistics.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints, escalating to the Head Concierge as needed.
• Observe health and safety standards, including safe handling of luggage and cash.
• Work night shifts as required to support 24‑hour operations.
