Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead a comprehensive logistics operation for an international production company in Genk, Belgium. You will oversee warehousing, internal logistics, packaging and transport, managing a team of 10 direct reports and around 40 operational staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and challenge Team Leaders and logistics employees.
• Coordinate inbound, internal and outbound goods flows.
• Ensure timely international transport by road, air and sea and fulfil customer orders.
• Monitor staffing, workload and capacity, proactively preventing bottlenecks.
• Reallocate resources in response to changing priorities or volumes.
• Improve packaging, picking and warehouse processes.
• Analyse complaints and recurring issues and drive structural improvements.
• Collaborate with planning, production, purchasing and quality teams.
• Manage transport partners, service levels and costs.
• Track KPIs related to productivity, quality and delivery performance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects and maintain a safe, organised work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing Team Leaders and operational teams.
• Strong background in logistics, warehousing and international transport.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Proactive, independent and assertive working style.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
