Logistics Agent – Cargo Coordination

About the role

The Logistics Agent ensures smooth end‑to‑end coordination of cargo movements, acting as the central hub between warehouses, trucking providers, airlines, ground handlers and customers. The role focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify on‑time performance (OTP) of shipments, maintaining up‑to‑date trucking information aligned with actual freight flow.
• Identify, analyse and resolve operational issues, providing mitigation steps and generating irregularity or discrepancy reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate import and export logistics, ensuring timely execution of all activities and clear communication with internal and external partners.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in air cargo, freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Experience working with airlines, ground handlers or trucking providers is highly preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as IATA Cargo Introductory Course or Dangerous Goods awareness are an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of air cargo and freight forwarding processes.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for import and export shipments.
• Ability to generate and interpret irregularity and discrepancy reports.
