LMCC Engineer – Line Maintenance Coordination

About the role

The LMCC Engineer will act as the primary liaison between Air Belgium and line maintenance providers, ensuring that both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance have minimal impact on flight operations. You will coordinate technical disruptions, AOG situations, and support flight crews with real‑time technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point for line station providers on routine maintenance, schedule changes, and disruptions.
• Ensure accurate reporting of technical disruptions and maintain AIMS data integrity.
• Monitor deferred defects, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and plan corrective actions with contracted maintenance.
• Coordinate AOG response, including parts ordering, logistics, MRO liaison, and out‑of‑hours OEM support.
• Use Boeing AHM and other monitoring tools to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.
• Provide technical support to flight crews experiencing in‑flight technical problems.
• Adjust day‑to‑day line maintenance planning as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of aviation regulations (EASA, CAMO, Part 145).
• Knowledge of Boeing B747‑400/800 systems (type rating or proven experience is an asset).
• Part 66 license is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar coordination role is advantageous.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French and Dutch are assets.
• Computer literate with solid MS Office skills and good administrative abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with strong communication skills.
