Linux System Administrator – Enterprise Directory Services

About the role

We are seeking a Linux System Engineer to administer and maintain enterprise directory services and Linux infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical backend systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade and maintain Red Hat Linux servers.
• Administer and maintain Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP environments.
• Manage LDAP operations including replication, queries, schema management, backups/restores and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Develop, maintain and optimise automation scripts using Bash, KSH or Perl.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and implement security improvements.
• Manage incidents, changes, documentation and operational procedures following ITIL best practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, platform migrations and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional UNIX/Linux administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the listed technologies.
• ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English and French.
