Legal Counsel – Corporate & HR Law

About the role

Napoleon is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Department in Belgium. Reporting to the Belgium Legal Director, you will provide hands‑on legal support across corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, with a special focus on HR‑related social and labour law issues.

Key responsibilities

• Advise all business lines on gambling, commercial, contract, labour and corporate law, acting as the primary legal contact for the HR department.
• Draft, review and standardise commercial agreements and other legal documentation.
• Manage the company’s real‑estate portfolio and licences, ensuring compliance and continuity.
• Coordinate claims, disputes and court cases to protect Napoleon’s interests.
• Monitor legislative changes and translate them into actionable guidance for relevant teams.
• Deliver legal training, develop templates and support departments in day‑to‑day legal matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in at least one of the relevant fields (gambling, commercial, contract, corporate or labour law).
• Proven ability to give practical, business‑focused legal advice.
• Experience in drafting and standardising commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and legislative monitoring.
