Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

Stellantis e-Transmissions, a leading hybrid transmission manufacturer operating in Belgium and the Netherlands, is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide day‑to‑day legal advice to management. The role balances business needs with compliance, ensuring the company’s operations are legally sound.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate cross‑border contracts and transactions with suppliers, focusing on component supply, service agreements, logistics, transport and ICT/software contracts.
• Provide legal opinions on contract law and consumer law, ensuring compliance with Belgian legislation and EU directives.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply‑chain teams to resolve legal issues related to supplier relationships and contractual obligations.
• Manage dispute settlement and support litigation matters as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Belgian attorney with at least 10 years of experience in corporate, commercial or international law.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently, deliver strategic legal advice and handle complex matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong negotiation skills, and effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
