Legal Counsel – Commercial & Consumer Law (Remote, Limburg)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Counsel to provide commercial and consumer law expertise for our client, a leading international leisure and hospitality group operating in Belgium. The role can be performed fully remotely, supporting senior management and operational teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice to senior management and operational teams.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial contracts.
• Advise on agency, distribution, procurement and service agreements.
• Support construction and real‑estate projects, including contractual negotiations.
• Monitor and advise on consumer‑law matters affecting the Belgian business.
• Contribute to ESG‑related projects and advise on sustainability regulations.
• Identify legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Strengthen compliance frameworks and internal governance procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Marketing, Communications and Operations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal counsel or lawyer.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, consumer law, and real‑estate/construction law.
• Experience with ESG matters is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently and manage a broad legal scope.
